Silicon Rubber Edge – SIL Profile
Silicone rubber edge-sil profile is the latest addition to the Jehbco range of products. It is an easy solution for attachment to sheet metal up to 3.0mm thick due to its spiral metal insert. Common uses would be for metal cabinets and ducting in clean process industries such as food, drinks, pharmaceutical and life sciences.
There is no physical attaching required – just press on and it holds automatically. The silicone is FDA compliant, strong and easy to clean. It is ideal for high temperature applications up to 200 degrees C and is widely regarded as the safe polymer of choice for clean industries worldwide.
Edge-sil is available by the meter in lengths up to 50m.
Corona Sleeving for Corona Treaters
Jehbco Silicones offer a comprehensive range of sleeving for corona treaters. Our Corona Treater sleeving is chemically stable with excellent dielectric heat and chemical resistance, formulated for maximum resistance to ozone and corona discharge. It is suitable for constant operation temperatures of up to 200°C.
The difference between Jehbsil® Corona Treater Sleeving and our competitors is we extrude it perfectly oliptical. This ensures you receive a product which is long lasting and smooth in its application. There are no unnecessary “bumps” during operation of the sleeve due to its round, not oval shape.
We keep a large range of sizes ex-stock. However we can also make to order in various colours, hardness and physical properties. We can custom make to your requirements.

Hospital Tube
JHS hospital tubing is made from 100% medical grade silicone elastomer. It is environmentally friendly and unlike its plastic alternatives, releases no toxic fumes when disposed of by incineration.
Popular uses for our tubing include Peristaltic pumps, aspirating,
suction, infusion, anaesthetic machine circuits, food manufacturing and processing, laboratory and scientific equipment to name a few.
Our tubing is translucent (also available in colours upon request) and is supplied in individually sealed and packaged 15 metre coils. Bulk packaging can also be arranged. We have 22 different sizes of tube that are available off the shelf, the smallest being 0.64mmID x 1.19mmOD up to the largest 15.9mmID x 22.2mmOD. As Jehbco is a 100% Australian manufacturer, we can also make our tubing to suit your specific needs (any size in increments of 0.1mm).
Jehbsil® JHS tubing is an F.D.A. and European Pharmacopoeia approved material which is odourless, tasteless and non-toxic. It is resistant to attack by a wide range of chemicals and solvents. Our staffs is available for service and advice on any application. The product is extremely flexible and has excellent memory characteristics.
Lighting Gaskets
Silicone is a quality, long lasting product that is ideal for the lighting industry. Its properties are second to none, with a wide temperature range of -40 degrees C to +250 degrees C continuous. The product is UV stable which makes it a very stable product, even under the harshest conditions.
If you are looking for a solution to your silicone sealing needs, then Jehbco can offer you an answer, whether it be standard o/rings or custom made seals. We specialise in silicone only and have over 2,000 extruded shapes on record, including sponge silicone (very popular in the lighting industry) and solid silicone in a variety of hardness, ranging from 25 shore A up to 80 shore A. These can be joined into almost any cut-length for your seal and o/ring requirement.
Jehbco has been supplying the lighting industry for over 30 years. Our gaskets can found in almost all NSW traffic lights, most outdoor lighting in throughout Australia and even in the Sydney Cricket Ground lights just to name a few. We only use 100% silicone without the addition of fillers which means you are getting the most out of your Jehbsil® product. You can even add heat stabilising materials to further increase your silicone longevity.
Many years of expertise are associated with our fabrication department. We use a heat press vulcanisation process to give the seal a strong bond which gives flexibility when joining different cut-lengths. Certain o/rings can also be moulded to suit your needs.
Reinforced Silicone Tubing
Jehbco are proud to announce a new range of reinforced silicone tubing. The tubing contains a single ply braided polyester multi-filament yarn reinforcement in 70 shore A. We have various sizes ex-stock. It is suitable for continuous use at temperatures of -60 to 150 degrees and intermittent exposure up to 180 degrees. It is resistant to ozone, UV and corona discharge. The tubing complies with FDA 21 CFR 177-2600. Typical applications would be as a coolant hose for industrial machinery, pipes and connecting hose for food and beverage processing, medical equipment, and chemical and adhesive filling systems.

We have over 2,000 shapes on record, including solid silicone in a variety of hardness, sponge silicone and adhesive backed silicone. Silicone Rubber Sheeting
JEHBCO Silicones supplies a wide range of high quality silicone rubber sheeting. Available in red, white and translucent.
Jehbco’s silicone rubber sheets are available in lengths up to 10 metres and 1000mm – 1200mm wide offering excellent physical properties under a wide temperature range from -50°C to +260°C with minimal effect on the properties of the sheet.
Available in various thicknesses from 0.3mm to 10mm for solid material and 3mm to 10mm in sponge, and also reinforced. Colours of white, red and translucent can be obtained.
Self adhesive backed sponge sheeting is available and solid silicone sheet can be adhesive backed on request.
Jehbco has also recently added to its range high tear strength vacuum blanket silicone rubber sheet. It is available 1800mm wide from a 10 metres continuous roll. Available thicknesses are 1.6mm and 3.2mm off the shelf.
Recent additions also include a 40 shore A (softer) silicone sheet available in 3.0mm thick. It is sold off a 10 metre roll and is 1200mm wide. Again this item is ex-stock.
Silicone ‘a natural’ for Polar Bears home
Jehbco Silicones are proud to be a part of the construction of one of the largest enclosures in Australia at Sea world called “Polar Bear Shores”.
On December the 26th 2000 Sea World, Gold Coast Australia, opened “Polar Bear Shores” which was built for the purpose of breeding polar bears in captivity, utilising the latest technology gained from international research. This multi-million dollar complex was designed for the public to view the polar bears in their ‘natural’ habitat.
Jehbco Manufacturing Pty Ltd-as market leaders in silicon extrusion- were approached to manufacture a suitable silicone seal for the huge especially laminated glass windows which were to be installed using Jebsil silicone, manufactured from raw material by Wacker Chemicals Australia Pty Ltd.
These laminated glass windows were manufactured by Architectural Glass Projects to retain the massive water volume on the inside of the tank, while enabling the public to observe the polar bears in their natural surroundings.
Jehbco approached Wacker Chemicals for the best silicone compound for this project. Wacker then formulated an elastasil material to meet the requirements of tensile, compression set, shock impact harness, tensile elongation and water immersion qualities.
Jehbco manufactured seals strong enough to accommodate 63mm which is used above and below water level in the polar bear enclosure. These windows and seals were designed to withstand the enormous water pressure and massive shock impact from the polar bears and the seals were fabricated keeping in mind the value added properties of silicone being ultra violet and temperature resistant and unaffected by immersion in water.
Jehbco Manufacturing Pty Ltd is an all Australian owned company specialising in silicone rubbers. From initial design, to tooling and site installation, the job was completed in only four weeks at Jehbco Brookvale (Sydney) factory. the seals were so large they had to be transported individually by truck to the site in Queensland.
